This Terrain Grid shapefile is in NC State Plane Coordinate System, Units of Feet, NAD 83 datum. It is composed of 10,000 foot x 10,000 foot grid tiles that were used to tile the lidar terrain data. Attributes are minimal, just the filenames of terrain data products for each tile, where available, and the contractor, and file date. The Grid_ID is an arbitrary unique ID, not related to the DFIRM panel numbers. You might find this shapefile useful for overlaying with the DFIRM Grid to determine which terrain product tiles to download.
